This qualification consists of three components: Speaking, Listening and Communicating; Reading; and Writing.
Candidates must complete the Speaking, Listening and Communicating assessment in addition to the Reading and Writing examinations to achieve the full qualification.
The Reading examination is 60 minutes, and the Writing examination is 60 minutes. The Speaking, Listening and Communicating component is assessed separately.
The qualification is graded Pass or Fail.
This qualification is available through on-demand assessment rather than a fixed Summer or Autumn examination series. The exam will take place on a mutually agreed date, which must be at least four weeks after the date on which the exam date is agreed.
