Functional Skills Mathematics – Level 2

This qualification is assessed through one externally set, on-demand examination.

The examination consists of two sections: a 25-minute non-calculator section and a 1-hour 30-minute calculator section. Both sections must be completed during the same examination session.

The qualification is graded Pass or Fail.

This qualification is available through on-demand assessment rather than a fixed Summer or Autumn examination series. The exam will take place on a mutually agreed date, which must be at least four weeks after the date on which the exam date is agreed.
